Calling all freshman, sophomores, and juniors! The 2023 Cooper Prize application is up and running.
The Charlotte Cooper Prize celebrates the life and can-do spirit of the late Charlotte Cooper, a beloved aunt and dedicated nurse whose love for family and community inspired all. Created by her family, the Cooper Prize is bestowed annually on a Chagrin Falls High School student/students in grades 9-11 who are pursuing innovative educational experiences or projects outside of the classroom. Awards of up to $1,000 are available. Educational experiences or projects are broadly defined to include
- Attendance at a seminar, event, conference, or camp related to artistic or scientific development, academic pursuits, leadership development, or entrepreneurship training.
- Travel nationally or abroad related to artistic or scientific development, academic pursuits, leadership development, or entrepreneurship training.
- Project materials related to artistic or scientific development, academic pursuits, leadership development, or entrepreneurship training.
- Experiences or projects outside these categories at the discretion of the trustees of the Chagrin Falls Educational Foundation.
